Hi, I’m Josh Sowin, a Serial Entrepreneur and Tech Enthusiast in Denver, CO.

I am currently the CTO at Abuyo, a startup that’s launching Summer 2011. We’re going to make real estate investment simple and affordable for everyone. You’ll be hearing more about it soon.

From 2004—2009 I worked at Desiring God as their Website Manager. I oversaw a major redesign that helped increase traffic 800% over 4 years.

I left to start Rainsong Media, a website design & development firm. In 2009 I co-founded Beacon Ad Network and sold it to 8Bit Network in 2011.

I enjoy making things happen, thinking up and through ideas, blogging (though this blog is not updated as much as I’d like), playing with gadgets and reading good books. I eat out a lot and think one of the highest pleasures in life is good food. I enjoy thoughtful conversation, good design, skiing, Apple computers, my cats, planning for the future, and living in beautiful Denver.

My favorite authors include Charles Dickens, John Steinbeck, J.R.R. Tolkien, Malcolm Gladwell, Stephen Jay Gould, Neil Postman, Bill Bryson, and Annie Dillard.

In another life, I photographed stock photography, ran a BBS, was an administrator for iStockPhoto, and owned an online pet supply store (sold in 2003).
