My Weekend

- Mowed the lawn. Went over it again (the joy of reel mowers).
- Trimmed too many branches from bushes.
- Tried to put on pantry door handles… miserably failed.
- Watched LOTR: The Two Towers on my 14" iBook with my wife.
- Went to church.
- Put up tools on a pegboard in the basement.
- Had our ducts cleaned "professionally." And by "professionally" I mean some kid with a shop vac and a long extension hose. It wasn’t worth $130. Don’t ever have your ducts cleaned. Buy a shop vac and a long extension hose for $90. Or buy a kid that comes with one.
- Found out our furnace was all rusted out. It was recommended that we get a new furnace. Uh oh.
- Found out A/C leaks and doesn’t cool the house.
- Moved junk upstairs.
- Moved junk to basement.
- Moved junk back to main floor.
- Got the oil in my car changed.
- Went to home depot. Twice.
- Met one of our neighbors. He was shooting water into our open basement window that was suppose to be airing out our basement. We have a moisture problem. Thanks, neighbor!
- Heard "thump, thump, thump, thump" until 1:30am. I think that they actually think that is music. I disagree.
- Saw neighbor kid break glass bottle in alley and then kick some of the shards into someone else’s yard. He left the rest in the alley. Brilliant!
