Comment Spam Manifesto :: Adam Kalsey
Posting an email address in a public place is not an invitation for companies to send unsolicited advertisements. Hosting a public Web forum or Usenet server does not give companies permission or the moral right to advertise on it. And soliciting comments from the public on a weblog entry or other Web page does not mean that companies or individuals are invited to use it for their advertising purposes. . . .
Spammers are hereby put on notice. Your comments are not welcome. If the purpose behind your comment is to advertise yourself, your Web site, or a product that you are affiliated with, that comment is spam and will not be tolerated.
Bloggers will track you down and notify your hosting providers about your activities. We will tell your ISPs what you are using their connections for. We will let the makers of the products you are advertising know of your despicable sales methods. We will hit you where it hurts by attacking your source of income.

My life has been changed. Er, I should say, would be changed if I didn’t have a wonderful wife who folds my clothes for me.
On another note, the design of that site stinks. They may be able to fold a shirt well, but they broke out Frontpage ’95 software for that one. Yuk.

Yahoo has released a beta search engine for video.
I have a premonition this will be used for the furtherance of great evil.

Want to make a difference? Buy someone you know some good books for Christmas. Don’t give into buying them toys and gadgets and everything the ads tell you to buy. Buy them good, old books. And then ask if they read them. If they have a hard time getting started, offer to read it with them.
That is my first suggestion to avoid culture-death. Read old books, and encourage others to read old books.

You can now read Iain Murray’s book online if you don’t have the cash to buy it. I really like Murray. Every book I have read by him has made me treasure Christ more.
