Science cannot prove or disprove God (Collins)

If God is outside of nature, then science can neither prove nor disprove His existence. Atheism itself must therefore be considered a form of blind faith, in that it adopts a belief system that cannot be defended on the basis of pure reason.

i had the same arguement with an athiest he said that i had no basis for this claim whatever that means. then i brought up paranormal experiences. then he said humans are not good eye witneses and are not perfect so witnessing something is not proof. well i said just because something doesnt have evidence does not diminish the fact that its there. he said that if he didnt have proof then there no reason for beliveing in something. then i said well if humans are prone to these mistakes like misinterpreting things and seeing things that arent there then science is also effected by this because science is conducted by humans. then i said if science cannot prove or disprove the paranormal or god it just means we dont understand it doesnt mean it doesnt exist.

Science may not be able to prove god itself but science can prove gods “apparent actions” like the creation of life for example.

Science cannot prove many things.
it cannot prove feelings
and the largest misinterpreted thing: love
it cannot prove logic,
and may prove itself in some ways but not all.
for example: One created the camera, and therefore we can prove it, because we are able to know how they did it which is proof of a camera. We did not create the earth, therefore there is not proof. But God’s proof is the bible and the people in it.

What do you mean it can’t prove feelings? You can see the chemical levels change as feelings change, and we know a “chemical imbalance” changes feelings and we can often fix them. Seems to be science can “prove” feelings as much as you’d expect.
