How Not To Use the Internet

I saw this in a comment on gizmodo, and thought it really represented how not to use the internets.

My mother in law recently wanted to buy a book online.

She fired up her browser, which has yahoo.com as its homepage.

In the search field, she entered “google”.

Clicking on the first result (google.com) she now entered into Google’s search field “http://borders.com”.

It’s been two weeks and I am still laughing.

On the other hand, it does show the interconnectedness of the interent…

    That’s hilarious! I can’t believe someone would pay full price at borders.com instead of getting a great deal with amazing customer service at amazon.com!
